From handbag favorites to animal print in childrenswear, these are the September 2024 top trends that are expected to impact the womenswear, menswear, kids, and beauty markets for months to come.

Handbags are always a hot topic within Womenswear but thanks to the rise of it-bags dubbed by the TikTok crowd, they’re getting more attention than usual. Currently, suede shoulder bags (+185% to LY), Mui Mui bags (+161% to LY) and leopard print bags (+122% to LY) are leading in the market along with accessorizing bag charms (+185% to LY), too.

With cooler weather comes warmer wardrobe essentials. For example, the mens silk scarf (+36% to LY) and suede chukka boots (+31% to LY) are menswear must-haves while mens sweater polos (+36% to LY) and mens quarter zips (+79% to LY) are fall and winter go-to’s as well.

Trending fall makeup looks are relying on the “clean look” as well as neutral tones. No-makeup makeup is +30% to last year, and consumers are opting for neutral eyeshadow palettes (+46% to LY) for latte-inspired smoky eyes. Brushed feather brows (+91% to LY) are an everyday necessity along with flushed cheeks (+37% to LY) using a red or mauve blush.

Similar to womenswear, animal prints are taking the childrenswear market by storm. Whether zebra or cheetah print, animal print tops (+37% to LY) and animal print leggings (+20% to LY) are seeing growth within market adoption. And the most popular print, leopard print shoes (+35% to LY) and leopard jackets (+126% to LY) are safe bets for months to come.
