From desired denim to bath products beyond body wash, these are the January 2025 top trends that are expected to impact the womenswear, menswear, kids, and beauty markets for months to come.

Denim styles continue to reign supreme within the apparel market. A variety of jean silhouettes are popular like stovepipe jeans (+48% to LY) and the street-style favorite barrel jean (+911% to LY). The belted denim jacket (+58% to LY) is quickly becoming an it-item while the denim shift dress (+68% to LY) is a safe bet trend within womenswear.

Menswear is experiencing an update when it comes to trousers with old and new styles emerging in the market. Mens flare jeans (+34% to LY) are a top market mover whereas mens striped pants (+34% to LY) are starting to grow in popularity. A classic, Dockers mens pants are up +174% to last year experiencing accelerated growth rates; and similarly, mens capri pants are +145% to last year, too.

Consumers are on the hunt for a body wash that is beyond just soap. For example, serum body wash (+303% to LY) and exfoliating body wash (+104% to LY) are favored “two-in-one” products. Necessaire body wash (+42% to LY) is a notable emerging trend that includes gentle exfoliating acids, resveratrol, niacinamide, and fresh fragrance notes. Vanilla body wash (+46% to LY) is a scented front runner, too.

Childrens accessories are currently having a moment in the market. The circle watch (+20% to LY) and the striped scarf (+47% to LY) are classic trends while the zigzag headband (+77% to LY)and sherpa lined hat (+18% to LY) are fun headwear extras.
