Grandma's Closet
Between nostalgia and a longing to standout amongst the crowd, shopping your grandma’s closet may just be the answer for the Fall/Winter 2025 season. We are seeing a dramatic increase in thrifted and re-sold pieces, looks inspired by "the wrong jacket" or "wrong shoe" theory and vintage maximalism––note Alessandro Michele––that are sure to continue to grow in popularity through next year.
Smooth Operator
An influence of sportswear, minimalism, and expertly crafted details lead to a smooth approach to design for Fall/Winter 2025. This macro-trend taps into sportswear and the idea that sports create a oneness within our world. Updated minimalism, futuristic details and the death of the dress code is furthering the movement of bar-to-barre dressing with investment pieces that can be dressed up or down.
Imagine That
Make it your own––whether that’s tapping inspiration from another country or century, bringing online to IRL, or romanticizing every moment along the way. Embellishments are key to curating a romantic look––think fringe tassels, beading and embroideries––that is less obvious than hearts and bows. Customization with charms in particular allow one's personality to shine through while also divulging in global trends like the French Girl aesthetic or K-beauty.
