Sunscreen mist is +13% in market adoption to last year and the go-to option for consumers that want an easy and quick application. This isn’t your typical aerosol application as the spray is done in an environmentally safe way that can be rubbed in after applying. Along with body and skin suncare, consumers are also on the hunt for products that will protect their scalps and hair. Conversations around scalpcare (+13% to LY) have been growing throughout the last year and we are seeing this manifest in a variety of product options. Scalp sunscreen is a top seasonal trend experiencing +12% market adoption to last year. Additionally, hair sunscreen is on the rise, up +23% to last year in searches. Hair sunscreen protects colored and treated hair from UV rays, deterring hair damage and discoloration—note Coola Suncare’s Scalp and Hair Mist Sunscreen. As a whole, the hair market has been focusing on health from root-to-tip, so we can be assured that innovation for both scalp and “strandcare” against the sun, salt, and humidity will continue to rise.
