During New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024, the greatest overarching influence on American designers this NYFW was certainly nostalgia––we saw ladylike silhouettes with an emphasis on waistlines and full skirts, bouncy 1980's curls were present, and a dose of glamour that felt like it belonged to “The Great Gatsby” or “Saltburn”. New plays on suiting, outerwear, on-the-go styling cues like double bags, and office-ready pumps brought new life to classics, too.

LUDOVIC DE SAINT SERNIN

Ludovic de Saint Sernin was a name to watch at New York Fashion Week–-this was the first time that the designer’s namesake label showed stateside versus his hometown in Paris. This collection noted the range from innocence to provocative and sensual in less traditional ways. His designs are often genderless and feel of-the-moment for a new era of the fashion industry.
