OVERALL NOTES
- While there were overlapping trends at the global retailers, most of the trend allocations were roughly a year behind the U.S. market: think hot pink, cargo pants, and color-blocking
- Footwear was the most behind category within the trend cycle while Dresses and Outerwear was the most forward
- Local boutiques were the standout: they offered creative, modern takes on artisanal practices
- Locally, handbags and jewelry were the most exciting categories, and print + details were the most eye-catching parts of ready-to-wear
