As we know, the American market always seemed to follow in the footsteps of Europe pre-social media––as inspiration has become more global, it begs the question if that sentiment remains the same. Shopping in the U.S. right now almost feels like you’re entering a costume department––sections feel very literal and starkly contrasted to each other. In the U.S., there are two major themes happening: boho chic & an old-money prep. While key items in these aesthetics are present in Paris, sections seemed to flow and feel more natural––they tapped trends like ruffles, sports-inspiration, and suede in a way that could more seamlessly fit into anyone’s personal style.
