After a bustling New York Fashion Week, it's certain the industry is in agreement that the city is back. From the return of staples like Tommy Hilfiger and Tibi to welcoming overseas allies like Fendi and supporting up-and-coming labels like LUAR and AKNVAS, there was much to buzz about. While there were star-studded runways and parties, the clothes captivated attention, too – as they should. This season, we saw a focus on the reinvention of staples (note the "white staple top") and creativity brought through styling cues; on the other hand, eveningwear took a whimsical turn with lavish embellishments and cheeky beauty looks.
