Fall/Winter 2025 beauty trends are leaning into a more natural color palette featuring bold eye looks, soft skin, neutral nails, and sweet fragrances. Below, discover the incoming top trends within beauty for next season.

CATEGORY: HAIR

We are seeing consumers opt for a more natural approach when it comes to haircare and styling. For instance, warmer natural hair colors are on the rise like honey blonde (+123% in Social Buzz)—goodbye Barbie platinum—and chocolate brown (+54% in Social Buzz) that match the trending color palette of the season. To minimize heat damage, heatless styles are continuing to grow in popularity like heatless curls, experiencing +12% in market adoption to last year. And, the flippy bob is a favorite cut, up +190% in searches to last year, that focuses on minimum styling for an easy-breezy look.

CATEGORY: EYES

Thanks to the FW25 runways, statement-making eye looks are top of mind for consumers, whether for the holidays or day-to-day looks. Bold cat eyeliner that feels 60s-inspired is a returning trend, up +200% in Social Buzz. Under eyeliner (22M TikTok Views) that makes the eye pop is on the rise, too, in a variety of colors from black to lilac purple. Glitter mascara is up +417% in searches to last year, seen by Maybelline, and is sure to be a holiday go-to. Even though mascara and liner is the focus, eyeshadow looks like frosted eyeshadow (+1,148% to LY)—think Kim Shui—are drawing attention here, too.

CATEGORY: LIPS

The red lip has had a chokehold on beauty circles for the past year; however, we are seeing this trend evolve into more berry-toned hues in deep reds and plums. Berry lip products are up +27% in market adoption to last year, commonly paired with a striking lip liner like the viral peel off lip liner (+416% to LY). High-shine lips are a must-have, seen at Versace’s FW25 show, and vinyl lips have garnered over 1M views on TikTok with +16% in market adoption to last year. As moody lip looks continue to rise, black lip gloss (+200% in Market Adoption) is making a comeback, especially after turning heads at Schiaparelli’s recent couture show.

CATEGORY: FACE

When it comes to face makeup, consumers are going for softer looks that work with the skin, not against it. Butter skin (+582% to LY) is the new desired look that focuses on making the skin appear soft, plump, and hydrated via using products like skin tint (+23% to LY) that offers subtle coverage, a dewy finish, and lightweight feel—Typology is a notable favorite. Similarly, skincare makeup (+21% to LY) seen from brands like Clé de Peau Beauté is saturating the market, offering two-in-one products. After the blush craze last year, consumers are putting the focus on the eyes and lips; however, red blush (+70% to LY) is currently a consumer top pick that offers a more natural, flushed appearance.

CATEGORY: NAILS

Nail trends feel elevated and will focus on near neutrals this fall. Neutral nail polish is seeing a spike in searches, up +55% to last year—think milk bath nails or oatmeal looks. Chocolate nails (73M TikTok Views) are it-girl approved—thanks Hailey Bieber—and match Pantone’s color of the year, Mocha Mousse. In prints, stripe nails (+267% to LY) and leopard nails (+48% to LY) are safe bet trends, both arguably new-neutrals of the season.

CATEGORY: FRAGRANCE

As we head into Fall/Winter, fragrance trends will continue to lean sweet with musky undertones. Marshmallow fragrances, seen by Kayali, are a consumer must-have at the moment up, +473% to last year. Floral perfumes (+72% to LY) including rose and jasmine are on the rise alongside woody fragrances, up +12% in market adoption to last year. And, vanilla perfumes are a seasonal trend up +22% in searches to last year alongside fragrance oils like Nemat’s Vanilla Musk fragrance.
